The HR Officer/Analyst is to assist in the execution of the Group’s Compensation and Benefits strategy through the provision of highly complex data collection, compilation and analysis.
- Administrate HR Compensation and Benefits programs and participate in the implementation of compensation and benefits programs, systems and procedures.
- Provide guidance in the interpretation and execution of laws, statutes, collective labour agreements, benefit plan provisions, policies and procedures which impact on the execution of compensation and benefits requirements.
- Administer benefit programs across the Group including advising and informing employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage and provisions.
- Calculate pay and allowances for new or promoted employees in line with organizational guidelines as required, and provide support to the calculation of annual employee incentive payments, or any other cash compensation.
- Calculate all compensation related payments as assigned, including, allowances, pro-rated salary, final payment, severance, vacation pay, benefits deductions and prepare related documentation for review and sign-off of the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related area with at least 3 years’ related experience in compensation and benefits analysis, use of mathematical models and spreadsheet analysis.
- Completed Compensation and Benefits Certification would be an asset.
