Conference Facility Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. The premises must be left in a clean and tidy condition. All garbage must be collected in garbage bags provided by you, which must be secured and placed in our garbage holding area near the exit gate. Our security personnel will permit you to access the area. Please ensure NO  garbage is deposited in the immediate area around the tent.
  2. There must be no variation of the purpose for which the permission is granted.
  3. Music being played for your occasion must be at a reasonable level. The Credit Union has the final word on acceptable sound levels.
  4. You should strictly observe the time period for which you requested use of the facility. Failure to do so will incur additional fees being charged.
  5. You are permitted to tastefully decorate the facility without using tape or adhesive, which will be difficult to remove, or which will disfigure our property.
  6. You are required to remove all decorations immediately after the event.
  7. You are NOT permitted to use our kitchen facilities for cooking.
  8. You are NOT permitted to use the bar in the facility for serving drinks. If necessary, you should set up an area on the outside of the facility for serving of the drinks.
  9. You may use the area outside the bar for serving food.
  10. We request that the use of our fabric chairs and oblong tables be restricted to the interior. Only white plastic chairs will be permitted to be used on the exterior. Oblong tables must be covered with plastic if used for drinks or in the bar.
  11. You will be liable for any damages to the property or furniture, however caused (except reasonable wear and tear) during the period of rental.
  12. Please arrange for Public Liability Insurance Coverage with Capita Financial Services Inc. or any other Insurer of your choice. A copy of the receipt must be forwarded to the Estate Officer no later than Forty Eight hours prior to the occasion.
  13. A fee of Three Hundred and Seventy Dollars and Fifteen Cents ($370.15) VAT inclusive must be paid towards the use of the facility to the Accountant. A copy of the receipt indicating full payment must be forwarded to the Estate Office no later than one week prior to the occasion.
  14. If your event is one requiring the obtaining of any license or permit under the law, you must obtain such and present it to the Credit Union prior to the holding of the event.
  15. The Credit Union does not accept liability for items left by you on the premises after your event.
