At the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Limited, we are committed to conducting our affairs in an honest and transparent manner. Due to this effort, we have partnered with a third party provider to create “Be Heard” This is a new avenue for members of the Credit Union to anonymously raise concerns about wrongdoing by members of staff, or elected officials. It is free, secure and available 24/7.
Whistleblowing is the mechanism through which members of the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Limited can anonymously raise concerns about serious matters and/or misconduct involving the organisation.
Members are encouraged to speak up when they wish to remain anonymous and when they believe the other avenues for address are inappropriate. Concerns are not limited to but can include the following:
Speak Up is not the only medium through which you can raise suspicions of wrongdoing. The existing avenues are still in use and include the following:
Expolink is a company that provides a whistleblowing service. The telephone line, email address and mobile app are all administered by Expolink. They do not track IP addresses and will log your concerns anonymously if you desire – it’s your choice.

You can Speak up Here. Please note that provision is also made for personal details – this is optional. You can continue to report your incident anonymously.
You can contact the toll free number at 1 844 854 1994. Please note that if you use the hotline, you may be asked to provide your personal details – this is optional and will in no way influence the seriousness with which your incident is treated.
Once you complete your report, you will receive a case number. This case number can then be used to check the progress of your concern on the website. Check the progress for your concern here.
Your report will be routed for investigation. Please note – persons who are named in any incident, will not have access to the submitted report.
