At least two hundred and fifty (250) members must sign the demand. Each member who signs must have been a member of the Society for at least one year at the time the demand is submitted to the Society. 4) If the Society denies inspection because the petitioners have failed to obtain the minimum number of valid signatures, the Society must inform the petitioners. 5) A demand for inspection of records must describe the particular records to be inspected and state a proper reason for the inspection. The demand must state that the requesting members as a whole, or certain named members, agree to pay the direct and reasonable costs associated with the search and any desired duplication of requested material.
