As a Credit Union fully in support of the philosophy of ‘people helping people’, we encourage the possibility for our members ‘embracing a new normal’ and are ready to support those who have faced personal loss as a result of COVID-19. Whether that be the loss of a loved one, a job, a business, financial security or just as significant, the loss of a sense of personal security – we are here to help! MERP was established with the main objective of providing and coordinating resources and opportunities to help our Credit Union’s members recover after the adverse effects of COVID-19. Initiatives Member Educational Training Sessions Educational Partners Training Needs Survey MERP Training Series Barbados Public Workers’ Co-Operative Credit Union Ltd. is working along with internal and external partners to deliver a training calendar of initially online sessions to our valued members. Topics for these sessions will be geared towards stress management, re-entering the workforce, recovery after financial loss, saving and budgeting and many more. The series will also considers the most frequently asked questions and concerns raised by BPWCCUL members and aims to provide this pertinent information via these concise, online information sessions.
